The 1st collection from celebrity stylist and image consultant Jason Boateng is inspired by red carpet looks throughout the ages.

The resort 2015-collection emphasises and pays homage to beauty and the power of sex yet simplicity. This is a reflection of the way these qualities can sometimes seem abstract.

Luxurious fabrics like brocades, silks, precise hand cut Russian lace and stretched mesh are manipulated together to create softness and transparency, which alludes to vulnerability and strength at the same time.

Shades of nudes and whites signify purity while the cobalt blues, gold and black reference strength and resilience, both strong characteristics of femininity. The sheer fabric gives the collection a featherweight feel.

There is lightness and fluidity throughout the collection as well as a nod to masculine tailoring which also oozes sex appeal. The structured masculine cuts on the long lined Blazers evoke a sense of power accentuating the shoulders one of the most flattering parts of the female form. The jackets are lined inside with yellow piping that is signature Jason Boateng, a bit of fun, which contrasts with the precision, cut of the Blazers.

Jason Boateng Resort 2015 is a tribute to strong women who aren’t afraid go out and grab the world by the lapels with confidence and the right amount of sex appeal. To quote the designer Jason Boateng “ A woman’s outfit choice shows her confidence and with a killer outfit, you have won before you’ve even started…”.
