Big Brother Naija Day 3: The housemates do their Folktale Task in groups

Biggie called the Housemates into the Arena to present their group Folktale plays and they wasted no time in showing their fellow Housemates how well they had prepared their Nigerian Folktales. Each team had ten minutes to base their play on their earlier Task where they had shared their experiences in Nigeria.

First up was Team Bally with Bally’s sonorous tones really struck a chord as he narrated emotively along with a drum beat. Uriel, ever the drama queen impressed with her impassioned performance and Kemen and CoCoIce didn’t let the team down.

Team Soma was next up with TBoss, Bisola, Miyonse and Soma each acting out their part to great effect. Soma made an imposing and Prophet while TBoss played the vain sister to perfection. “go to the Udana tree and beat the drum in the sequence I give you and you will see what the Gods have for you” with both TBoss and Bisola laying sacrifices at Soma’s feet. “Very soon you will stumble on great wealth” he predicted for Bisola, promising that her “tall dark handsome husband”would have a big Cassava. TBoss didn’t fare so well with Chief Soma’s prediction for her.

Next up was Team Marvis with Efe, ThinTallTony and Gifty carry on with the collective good work. ThinTallTony imploring God to “make today brighter than yesterday” They did a play called “The Old Pot” singing tradiotional songs and ending off with a good positive message: never underestimate your own worth.

Overall, Biggie was happy with the outcome of the Task and rewarded the Housemates with a point toward their wager. He then reminded them that they had only one hour left toward their “Don’t Touch Task” sending them back inside the House to complete it.
