The difference Dare Sweet brings to the Nigerian industry is a flask of fresh personality, a modest lifestyle and unique vocal abilities forged by lots of work professionalism and love for music. His “Yoruba” dialect and his captivating rich vocal texture which is engulfed in a dancehall vibe with a blend of jazz and Afro Pop instrumentals is what distinguishes him from others Nigerian artists of his generation.

Dare bring to the table a blend of Afro culture to that of the Swedish oriental flavour. People could easily learn from his lyrics and experience being a dual national who has inherited from two amazing cultures.

As an afro-pop recording artist in Stockholm Sweden, it was a struggle for Dare Sweet in the beginning. Prior to the release of his first single “You Rock Me Bad” in 2011, It was almost impossible to get an Afrobeat song on the Swedish blogs and promote it around Sweden because at that time most Swedes didn’t listen to anything from outside Europe except few of the American top artist which were played on radio from time to time.

Dare Sweet has since then broken the walls of musical culture in Sweden by demystifying the odds and pushing what was until then a relatively unknown genre the “Afro-pop”. In early 2014 Dare Sweet’s brand and the Afro-pop started to cross borders and breaking barriers. He started sharing more and More stages with the world’ biggest artists from USA , UK , and Africa who were trying to grape some new fans from the Scandinavian market. It was through this struggle that Dare Sweet is now known as the prince of Afro-pop.

As an Afro Pop recording artist in Sweden Dare Sweet has performed on stage with international acts of the likes of Gyptian, Marlon Arsha (Ganja Farmar), Busy signal, and many more to mansion a few. He has also performed and wowed audience both inside and outside Sweden. He was featured as an international act in London at Kida Kurdz and Friends Concert where he performed alongside Krept & Konan, Kojo Funds, Abra Cadabra, and Olamide.

Prior to the release of his usual end of the year, “EP” Tilled “Turn Up” he headlines his own concert in Stockholm on Oct 28th, 2017 which was also tilled and headlined “Turn Up Night: Dare Sweet and Friends” hosted by Emax Entertainments. The concert took place in Rågsved and features top Stockholm based musicians and fashion designers.
