The 70th Annual Primetime Emmy® Awards will take place in Los Angeles next week. You can watch the Emmy® Awards live on M-Net channel 101 DStv on Tuesday 18 September at 02:00 and streaming on DStv Now, with a delayed airing on the same day at 21:00.
Who are the 2018 Emmy® nominees?
We’ve got the full list of 2018 Emmy® Award nominees here. Atlanta and Saturday Night Live lead the nominations with both having received 8 in total within the comedy genre. Eight is a lucky number because it’s the same amount of total nods for The Handmaid’s Tale in the drama section (watch season 1 on Showmax right now). We see The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story take the cherry with nine nominations for the latest American Crime Story season.
Who are the hosts for the 2018 Emmy® Awards?
This year’s hosts are Saturday Night Live’s dashing duo Colin Jost and Michael Che so expect quite a few laughs and jabs at current happenings in the world. Who are the winners of the 2018 Emmy® Awards?
Well, we don’t know yet… but we can predict. Many are hoping to see Sandra Oh become the first Asian-American to take the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series award for the BBC show Killing Eve. With others rooting for Atlanta created by and starring Donald Glover.
