Stateman is a Nigerian-born Ghana based Hip-Hop artist, who hails from Onitsha Anambra State. Stateman’s music career started through the inspiration he derived from one of Nigeria’s finest rappers – Phyno, which drove him to write and compose with his traditional dialet, Igbo. His desire to serve fans and music lovers with a unique stlye did not fall flat despite his rejection on MTN’s Hitmaker (2015) auditions for having rapped in his own mother tongue – Igbo.
