MultiChoice Slashes DStv Explora Decoder Price to N39,000

MultiChoice, Africa’s leading entertainment company has announced starting on April 12, the DStv Explora, Dish Kit + One Month Premium subscription will sell at N39,000. It is a great price slash from N64,000.

The company which prides itself as the frontline entertainment provider in Africa is dedicated to giving DStv subscribers more value for their money. The announcement was made over the weekend by Martin Mabutho.

According to the Chief Customer Officer, Mr Martin Mabutho: “We are shaping our business to respond to our customers’ needs, and this price slash is in line with the company’s commitment to making entertainment more accessible.

“This is part of efforts to make subscriber experience Premium & the power of Explora at an affordable price and hopefully upgrade. It is important to emphasize that our Premium content which most of our customers want to record and keep sits on this package; such as Game of Thrones, which premieres 15 April.”

The DStv Explora decoder offers full Personal Video Recorder (PVR) functionality. PVR enables users to record TV shows for later viewing.

The decoder has internal storage of 1 Terabyte enough to store about 9 days of recorded TV video footage.

It also includes DStv Catch Up which allows you catch up to your favourite shows by using any connected iOS or Android device using the DStv Now app and DSTV BoxOffice which gives you the liberty to rent the latest movies from the comfort of your home and even when you’re on the go.

The DStv Explora decoder is available at any of DStv agent stores and now goes for a price of N39,000.

This new price includes the decoder, a dish kit, and a one-month premium subscription.
