#BBNaija Season 4 – How to Vote

Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem has been fiery hot and Biggie is turning up the heat. The power to crown the winner is now in your hands. Before you let your fingers do the talking, read up on the different ways you can vote this season.

There are now four ways to vote:

1. SMS (Nigeria only)
2. Mobile site
3. Desktop website
4. MyDStv or MyGOtv App (Active Nigerian DStv or GOtv subscribers only)

1. SMS (Nigeria Only)

How to Vote

To Vote for your favourite Housemate via SMS, text the word ‘VOTE’ and the name of the Housemate to 32052. As an example, if you were voting for Miracle, your text would read, “VOTE Miracle”.

One SMS equals one vote and you can vote up to 100 times if you wish. Each SMS will cost N30.

2. Mobile Site

How to Register

• You can register to vote on the Africa Magic mobile site– africamagic.tv/bigbrother
• Click on the Vote menu item.
• Click on Register and enter your name, surname, year of birth, gender, cell phone number in the international format e.g. +27731234567 and your preferred password.
• You will receive an OTP (One Time Pin) via SMS.
• Enter your OTP .
• Once registered, you will be able to vote after the show
• Mobile site votes are free.
• Data costs apply.

How to Vote

• You may vote for your favourite housemate via the Africa Magic mobile site– africamagic.tv/bigbrother
• Click on the Vote menu item.
• Click on Sign in and enter your cell phone number in the international format e.g. +27731234567.
• Enter your chosen password
• Select your favourite housemate.
• Enter your number of votes and cast your vote by clicking VOTE.
• Votes on the mobile site are limited to 100 votes per user.
• Mobile site votes are free.
• Data costs apply.

3. Desktop Site

How to Register

You can register to vote on the Africa Magic website– africamagic.tv/bigbrother.

• Click on the Vote menu item.
• Click on Register and enter your name, surname, year of birth, gender, cell phone number in the international format e.g. +27731234567 and your preferred password
• You will receive an OTP (One Time Pin) via SMS.
• Enter your OTP.
• Once registered, you will be able to Vote after the show.
• Website Votes are free.

4. MyDStv App or MyGOtv App (Active Nigerian Subscribers only)

Please note: You will receive only 100 additional votes in either the MyGOtv or MyDStv apps. You will not receive 100 votes in each app i.e. should you have both subscriptions, you will still only receive 100 additional votes.

Download the MyDStv or MyGOtv App

• Get an additional 100 votes with the MyDStv or MyGOtv App.
• Download the MyDStv or MyGOtv App from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
• No registration is required; log into the app selecting Nigeria; your surname or mobile number and your smartcard number.
• Once you’ve logged into your MyDStv or MyGOtv app account page, look for the “Vote Now” button.
• You must be an active Nigerian DStv or GOtv subscriber to receive your 100 free app votes.
• Click on “Vote Now” follow the instructions to cast your vote.

• Click on Register and enter your name, surname, year of birth, gender, cell phone number in the international format e.g. +27731234567 and your preferred password.
• You will receive an OTP (One Time Pin) via SMS.

Voting will open straight after the Nominations Show on Monday at 19:30 WAT. The lines will then close on Thursday night at 21:00 WAT.
