How to access DStv’s Oscar Pistorius trial channel

On Sunday, 2 March 2014, MultiChoice launched The Oscar Pistorius Trial: A Carte Blanche Channel on DStv Channel 199, and this is how you can watch it online.

The channel will feature round-the-clock coverage of the legal proceedings, as well as exclusive documentaries, profiles and in-depth expert analysis.

There are a few boxes you’ll need to check before you can access the Live Stream.

–  Are you a DStv Premium, Extra, Compact or Compact Plus Subscriber?

–  Do you have a DStv Connect ID?

–  Can you browse on a PC or laptop as streaming is not supported on a mobile device.

Got the right package? Then follow these steps to Register for a free Connect ID.

– Click Register, complete all the relevant details on the pop up, and then proceed by clicking the Register button.

– At this point you will also be able to link your Smart Card or Customer Number, this is necessary to access the stream.

– You will then receive a verification e-mail, instructing you to activate your account.

– You will now have access to the live stream at oscartrial.com as well as a number of other services.

Keep in mind you might already have a Connect ID from accessing SuperSport Live Streaming, Catch Up or Box Office online and therefore you’ll only need to login.
