Introducing Melo’D Saintsori – The Liberian Musician/Song writer/Sound engineer taking it to the next level
Melo’D is a Musician/Song writer/Sound engineer He was born in Liberia but grew up in Ivory Coast. His music journey started in August of 2012.
Melo’D is the fourth of ten children from the Geleplay’s Family. Upon arrival to the United State in 2004, Melo-D did not see himself ever becoming a public figure due to his shyness.
But doing his high school days, (John Bartram HS Philadelphia PA) a little exposure to poetry by his favorite teacher Dr. Claudia Shulte, change the life of the 16 years old Jorgen Juty, Geleplay who is now best known as Melo’D. With in a short time, poetry became a natural to Melo’D who poetry teacher became very amaze at his talent, she would then take him to poetry festival here and there as he perform before a huge number of audiences.
She then suggested that he get into song writing, but with his raw talent and no focus, he ignore the idea. Seven years has pass, Melo’D has return to his old city Philadelphia Pennsylvania, from Sacramento California.
Where he found out that his friend from high school, (Koamivi Amekou aka Dj Gerald) had a music studio, there where Melo’D started spending most of his time, learning to produce beats at first, with the hope of becoming an engineer/D.J As time went by Melo’D started seeing things differently.
“Taking it to the next level” according to Melo’D, and so he got in the booth and started recording.
