Meet the new BET A-List team

The elegant Nomzamo Mbatha and bubbly Jessica Nkosi are set to join the stylishNandi Madida in the new and improved BET A-List on BET (129) from Thursday 25 May at 6pm WAT.

The hot trio will combine their star power with Jesse Suntele who moves into a studio role from an insert presenter. The elite foursome will alternate in the anchor seat when the weekly lifestyle and entertainment magazine show moves to its new 6pm WAT time slot on BET (129). 

Ayanda Nhlapo and Leroy Marc will continue their roles of fashion and style correspondents, creating an unmissable television experience, while model and TV host K. Naomi continues to bring her fresh approach as insert presenter.

And BET A-List has further grown its pan-African reach by adding two correspondents – Nigerian TV host and producer Illrymz and Zimbabwean TV personality Miss Vimbai, who will be reporting on all the action and entertainment from on-the-ground in Nigeria.

Nomzamo’s rise to fame started after she made it to the finals in the MTV Base VJ Searchin 2012. In 2015, she starred in a romantic comedy film, Tell Me Sweet Something, and received an Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading role nomination at the 12th Africa Movie Academy Awards. She was named as one of the sexiest South Africans in a media poll and won the Drum Rising Star Award. No stranger to the Viacom family, she co-hosted the 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) alongside Bonang Matheba and Yemi Alade showcasing Africa’s finest talent.

Jessica is well known for portraying the character of Qondi on the telenovela turned soap opera, Isibaya. She also portrayed the character of Eve on aYeYe and was the host of Our Perfect Wedding.

Your top four BET A-list presenters are Nandi Madida, Nomzamo Mbatha, Jessica Nkosi and Jesse Suntele, with Ayanda Nhlapo, K. Naomi and Leroy Marc making roving reporter appearances.

BET A-list airs on Thursdays at 5:35pm WAT and will move to a brand new time slot from Thursday 25 May 2017 at 6pm WAT on BET (129).
