Introducing Ayodeji Lapite aka Chief Dejjy

Ayodeji Lapite also known as “Chief Dejjy”. A music lover but most importantly, a guy who values his education more than anything. He’s a graduate from the State University of New York, University at Buffalo. Graduated with his BA in Psychology, in the Spring of 2013. Chief Dejjy always wanted to be involved with music but the value of education held him back, because your education can never be taken away from you. But thank God now he has it and it can NEVER be taken away from him.

From just sitting in the studio with friends, to writing lyrics to beats and making mix tapes to update everyone on the latest music from Nigeria, and allover Africa, He’s proud to say his work has grown from the first track “Ka Lojo” to my latest release “Bakasi” featuring HKN’s Own Deekay.
