FOX Life wears a new jacket effective 1 October 2017

Since its launch a year ago, FOX Life has become an audience favourite. With programming that has treated fans to upbeat urban content including Lee Daniels’ Star, Atlanta, House of Payne, Lira’s Dreamchaser, Real Housewives of Atlanta and more, Fox Networks Group Africa has announced that FOX Life will soon be wearing a new jacket. It is more local, and it is lush.

Some of the popular international shows that helped establish the channel such Lee Daniel’s Star and Atlanta will making way for more refreshing local programming including Vintage Z, and Click, starting an exciting Urban Thursdays. Listening to what the audience has said, the channel will be giving more airtime to the popular Turkish telenovelas, in an attempt to give the audience more of what they love.

The new programme schedule will make it easier for fans to enjoy their favourite shows through streamlining of genre, predictable repeat patterns and every girl’s favourite – weekend catch ups! The Fox Networks Group Africa has also announced an increased investment into local content appealing to women across the continent. To top this, the channel will be increasing the number of Turkish telenovelas which have proved to be a firm audience favourite.

The channel will also sport a slick new logo, and complete with refreshed on-air imaging, viewers can look forward to a refreshed FOX Life experience.

Refining FOX Life has also meant that Fox Africa’s schedule has been bolstered with even more premium scripted dramas. The next seasons of Star and Atlanta will premiere on this channel early in 2018. When the world’s favourite drama series, Empire, returns to Fox Africa for its fourth season, it will be followed by a repeat of series one of Star, enabling the audience to enjoy a feast of Lee Daniels’ premium entertainment content back to back.
