VACANCY: Head of Sales/Marketing (Entertainment, media and television)

A new vacancy for Head of Sales/Marketing at an entertainment, media and television company in Lagos just became opened.

Position: Head of Sales/Marketing (Entertainment, media and television)

Summary of Specific duties and responsibilities;
•    Generate new business leads and manage the end-to-end sales process.
•    Generate sales meetings and build business relationships within targeted accounts
•    Develop and manage assigned accounts/territories by contacting targeted market segments and managing the pipeline on a daily basis
•    Develops strategic marketing communications and PR plans and provides counsel to clients
•    Write proposals that meet prospective client’s needs and develop pricing that represents good value to the client while maintaining reasonable margins.

Education and Experience:
•    First degree in any discipline with a minimum of 2nd class division
•    Possession of an MBA or a postgraduate degree in any management field
•    Professional qualifications in marketing or management will be an advantage, and also experience in television and media agencies will be an advantage
•    Minimum of 7 years post qualification experience with 3 years in a senior management position in the Media sector or television
