2018 Oscar nominees revealed

The Shape of Water leads the list of 2018 Oscar nominees with 13 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress for Sally Hawkins. Watch the  90th Academy Awards® live online on Monday 5 March at 03:30 on M-Net Movies Premiere. In addition to a Best Director nomination for first-time director Greta Gerwig, whose feature Lady Bird  also picked up nominations for Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actress and Best Picture, the 2018 Oscar nominations revealed a historical first, with Mudbound’s Rachel Morrison becoming the first woman to be nominated for Best Cinematography.
