Zee TV adds new show Kaleerein to its primetime lineup

Zee TV on (DStv Channel 452) announces the start of a new show Kaleerein, premiering at 19:30 from 6 February. Kaleerein will launch on Zee TV on 6 February and is set against the rustic backdrop of Punjab.

Traditionally, from an early age, girls are focussed on preparing themselves to be the perfect bride and daughter-in-law. However, in some instances they lose their own individuality. Kaleerein tells the story of Meera, a feisty Punjabi girl wanting to break free of traditions and refusing to be boxed. Her struggles to stay true to herself while trying to please her family, lie at the heart of the series.
