VIDEO: Mista Silva – THINKING

Mista Silva is yet back again, with a brand new smooth & saucy single which will have the clubs shocking out, the three time MOBO nominee & two time UMA winner teams up with London based producer PlayersOnly aka Dj Scotti D to bring us a song titled “THINKING”. the song is one which grabs your attention almost instantly upon listening with its knocking instrumentation creased by the deep, smooth but sweet sounding lyrics of Mista Silva voice, within the song Mista Silva expresses his deep passion for his music/culture and the energy in which it provides for him to keep shinning in an industry which seems to have forgotten the great works of the man towards setting a foundation for the acceptance of African culture within the diaspora.

After encountering some difficult situations and circumstance over the past couple years within the song Mista Silva displays his resilience and consistency to keep pushing for his desires and dreams, having feeling misunderstood and outcasted. But the greater message of the song is to encourage all that you can have setbacks, and sometimes you can fall in the lions den and it feels as though all is lost but don’t let the negative thinking overcome the positives, because greatness erupts when your thinking can oversee the hurdles life throws at you.

Within the official video Mista Silva takes us on a journey to his nation of origin Ghana (the gateway to Africa), in which we see a raw display of culture, Mista Silva says “the visual is one which i just wanted to feel and display the rawness of the mother land from the locations used and extras within the visual it was important that we showed the basic of where the sound and culture is coming from”

I believe its right to say that this was definatley accomplished, with beautiful visuals shot & directed by Kofi Bruce a Ghana based director. So i guess its fair this is a made in Ghana product.

Enjoy!
