L-Tip begins the 2021 campaign on a compelling note with a grimy heater called Gun On My Lip. The song opens up with dark, ominous keys that let us know that something bad – yet intriguing – is going to happen. The beat follows the drill format, with an infectious and provocative bounce. 

Tip solidly stamps his authority from the first verse, where he seems to be addressing clout chasers and those who have no concept of “paying dues”. In the second verse, he appears to be addressing one such individual who went sideways in pursuit of fast money.

L-Tip has set a serious tone for what’s to come this season and is certainly someone to keep an eye on for developments.
