VIDEO: #BBNaija Day 15 – Week two in Biggie’s House

The Level Up Housemates didn’t fail to deliver on drama, tensions, emotions and straight-up entertainment. Given the curveball that Big Brother threw and The Housemates and viewers alike during last week Sunday’s Live Eviction Show, it’s fair to say that the Housemates took to this week like champs.

After Deji and Modella entered their respective Houses, both Level 1 and 2 Housemates quickly settled into their normal groove of bonding and getting to know each other better. Daniella and Khalid were a couple that not many saw coming. Before the Sunday’s Eviction Diary Sessions, the pair was seen cozying to each other under the covers and again at the end of the night.

Our Housemates’ relief of not being evicted the night before was short-lived due to the looming Head of House games on Monday. Before the games started, Big Brother served both Levels with a brief for the Weekly Wager Task. Housemates were to create a unique sport in celebration of the sporting greats from around the world.

Later in the evening, the HoH games started. Both Levels battled it out for the coveted title of HoH but Hermes dominated with Dotun and Chichi getting the dreaded Tail of House titles each.

Due to his win, Hermes was given the chance to put Housemates from Level 2 up for nominations. He Nominated Amaka, Christy O, Cyph, Khalid and Phyna for possible Eviction, giving his reason for each Housemate’s Nomination. Big Brother took to Level 2 to announce who the Nominated Level 2 Housemates were in a meeting that turned out to be emotional for some.

The following day after the HoH games and Nominations started off mellow. During their Diary Sessions, the Nominated Housemates gave Big Brother reasons why they think they were put up for possible Eviction. While Cyph, Khalid and Phyna firmly believe it’s because they posed a threat in the Game, Amaka and Christy O were none the wiser as to why their names came up.

The girls in Level 1 couldn’t hide their interest in the fake Housemate Deji. On Wednesday evening the Lagosian was literally surrounded by most of the ladies in the House while he cooked. It seemed like an innocent get-to-know-him session but it was in the way Housemates like Allysyn hung onto his every word – to the point of denying knowing Cyph from Level 2 well, despite having kissed him.

Despite the business of getting to know their new Housemates, trying to win HoH, ironing their strategies on how to last in the Game and perfecting their Weekly Wager Task, housemates found time to form special bonds with their chosen Housemates. This was further cemented during the Pool Party that Level 2 Housemates had the honor of attending this week.

Apart from Khalid and Daniella, we saw Beauty and Groovy trying to take their friendship further. Sheggz and Bella seemed to find their way to one another. Eloswag and Chomzy found themselves in a ‘throuple’ that included Phyna and Cyph and Doyin proved that Levels are not a factor where attraction is concerned.

In what seemed like a blink of an eye, it was already Friday and the Weekly Wager Presentation was upon the Housemates. Both Levels spent the day perfecting the sport they created. Of course, there were times in between for some relaxation where we saw Deji cryptically letting Doyin know who it is in the House he likes.

The Weekly Wager Presentation saw both Levels enter the Arena to compete and compete they did. Level 1 was up first and they presented ‘bumball’ with Adekunle and Hermes and commentators. Soon after Level 1 finished, Cyph got up to introduce Level 2’s and explained that the sport was to be played in teams and that only one person can be the winner, which was ultimately Groovy.

After both presentations, Big Brother asked Khalid, Amaka, Daniella and Beauty to stand up. He warned them against microphone infringements, gossiping and not participating in the morning exercises. Biggie went on to announce Level 1 as the champions of the Weekly Wager Sports Presentations and said that all Level 1 Housemates will each get 1500 Pocket Naira to spend on next week’s shopping.

Just like that, the week was nearly over. Not before the much anticipated Saturday Night Party. The Housemates proved that not only was it about vibes, but also a fashion affair. It was hard to pick one moment as the best part of the evening but for some Housemates, it had to be seeing when the two Levels reunited.

Couples paired up as the Housemates danced to beats by DJ Caise When the evening ended, it was hard for the Housemates to part ways but for Nominated Housemates, Amaka, Christy O, Cyph, Daniella, Khalid and Ilebaye, the evening was certainly bittersweet.

Big Brother Naija Season 7 Level Up is now live on the 24-hour channels 198 on DStv and 29 on GOtv. Fans across Africa and the UK can sign up on the streaming service Showmax.
