NEW ON TV: TRACE Sports celebrates 100 days to the Olympic Games
TRACE Sports, a new format channel dedicated to revealing intimate behind the scenes of the world’s favourite sporting heroes, will be launching on DStv Channel 129 on Tuesday, 17 April 2012!
With 100 days to go to the Olympic Games in London, TRACE Sports finds out what makes the greatest champions tick and shares the secrets totheir mental and physical preparation. The channel that loves championspresents programmes featuring Usain Bolt, Tyson Gay, Michael Phelps, Rebecca Adlington, Lucie Décosse, Oscar Pistorius and Jeremy Wariner!
During this exceptional evening, the greatest sprint, swimming and judo icons discuss their exceptional careers and let you in on their training secrets as they prepare for the upcoming Olympic Games!
Here’s the lineup for this special evening of programming (ALL TIMES IN WAT):
7pm – Usain Bolt in Up Close With
The fastest man on earth, a three-time Olympic and five-time world champion, takes you on a tour of his native island, Jamaica. Usain Bolt reveals his sole ambition: to win at least four gold medals at the 2012 Olympic Games in London!

We look back at the career of this champion, from his beginnings to the incredible performances that allowed him to become the first Paralympic athlete to compete alongside able-bodied runners. Oscar Pistorius opens up about his drive and his rise to fame.
8:30pm – Tyson Gay, Jeremy Wariner, Haile Gebreselassie in Body & Soul
Three track and field legends share their training secrets, their diets as well as their state of mind in the run up to meets in this brand new show! Discover the innermost thoughts of Tyson Gay, the second fastest man on earth, Jeremy Wariner, the 400 m Olympic champion, as well as those of Haile Gebrselassie, the four-time 10000m Olympic champion.
