Picks of the Day: Monday 10th September, 2012

All forms of transportation will be celebrated as adventure-seeking hosts, Dennis Anderson and Rob Mariano, battle each other, as well as the elements, in a competitive race around the globe.

However, to make their journeys even more of a challenge, the two rivals will have to use 80 uniquely different modes of transportation throughout the race. Armed only with their wits, survival skills and gear expertise, the competitors sprint from city to city, across countries and continents, using each form of transportation only once.

From the simplicity of the unicycle to the sophistication of the B1 Bomber, these globe-hopping contenders demonstrate how far transportation has come as well as exploring its future.
