64th Primetime Emmy Awards live on M-Net/M-Net HD

The Primetime Emmy Awards celebrate excellence in primetime programming, awarding top honors annually. The 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, presented by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, will honor the programming dated from June 1, 2011 until May 31, 2012.

The ceremony is set to take place at the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, California and famed American comedian, TV host and actor Jimmy Kimmel will host the awards.

Some of your favourite shows on DStv have been nominated in various categories: Modern Family (Outstanding comedy series), Downton Abbey (Outstanding drama series), Mythbusters (Outstanding reality program), So You Think You Can Dance (Outstanding reality-competition program) to name a few.
