MTN Project Fame Elimination Show Day 46: A Night Of Repeat Performances!

As we gradually approach the final of Season 5, we have seven outstanding contestants left in the competition and the evening started off with these contestants playing tribute to Bob Nester Marley as they did a medley of hits from this reggae legend. it was simply an awesome appearance.

On the show was a guest judge, a friend of the house, a former faculty member, and the season one voice coach, Gogo Majin. Her appearance brought an interesting blend to the evening as the contestants took to stage to perform for West Africa.

By popular demand, the contestants repeated their best performances on stage so far, and since there’s no longer elimination, all the performances were delivered with ease and without the tension of elimination.

Chirsitian kicked off with Maroon 5’s ‘Pay Phone’, next was Musulyn doing her own version of Ice Prince’s ‘Oleku’. Again Oyinkansade thrilled everyone with Adewale Ayuba’s Bubble which got everyone cheering for this fuji crooner. Invoking the spirits from West Africa, Ayo did an afrobeat version of Style Plus’ ‘Olufunmi’. Adetoun again did justice to Queen Salawa Abeni’s ‘Gentle Lady’.

Marvellous though with a sprained ankle marvelled everyone with Bobby Brown’s ‘Prerogative’ and lastly was Ella singing ‘I Was Here’ by Beyonce. The performances came to an end on a very emotional note as Ella presented a gift to Bibie Brew whom she felt has encouraged her to this point, and amidst so much tears she received it and commended everyone for a job well done. A perfect way to end a night of delightful entertainment.
