When the former lead singer of their R’n’B band dies, Louis and Floyd, two grumpy Soul Men who have been estranged for over twenty years, find themselves thrown together again when they agree to participate in a reunion concert at the Apollo Theater.

As they travel across the country in Floyd’s bumpy Cadillac, they must deal with past grievances, old betrayals and bad hips as they ultimately discover that it’s the music that brings them together.
