Jacob’s Cross: How will it all end?

Over the years, there’s been plenty of death and drama, take-overs and tears and a great deal of backstabbing. There’s also been a little joy, but in Jacob’s life the happy times are few and far between.

Now that we’re just about half-way through the final season of Jacob’s Cross, we though we’d take a peek into the future to see how this engrossing series might end…

What’s happened so far:
Jacob Makhubu is our favourite Jacob of all time!

Sure, he’s made some mistakes when it came to his love life and business, but we can forgive him almost anything!

The one thing we can agree on is we’d all like Jacob to be happy. It’s been awhile…

After losing his wife twice, temporarily to divorce and irrevocably to death, we thought Jacob would never find true love, but just last week he kissed Nurse Nzinga, what does this mean? Could she be Jacob’s (new) soul mate?

And with Abayomi Oil getting the contract to supply Nigeria with nuclear power, the company has gone from strength to strength.

What might happen:
Jacob realises his potential and confident that he has a lot to contribute to the world he makes it his mission to make the world safer for his children and on a global scale, so he enters the political rat race.

Because of his business success, it doesn’t take him long to climb the ranks from Minister of Energy and Environmental Affairs to a potential candidate for the country’s presidency.

The verdict is still out on his love life, but one thing is certain: Jacob is powerful and fulfilled.

What might happen:
Folake thinks he’ll never forgive her but he does, and so she decides she owes him big time. Knowing how much Shy loves to sing and how he misses performing, Folake introduces him to Nigerian superstar, the evil OC Cocker.

Yes, in this alternative ending, Banky W’s character reveals that not only is he an evil genius, but he is also a successful muso…

Cocker and Shy perform together, and Cocker is so impressed with his vocal abilities he immediately invites Shy to join him on a world tour, losing interest in Aboyomi Oil and the pursuit of evil. Folake promises to be a groupie, joins them on tour and they set off into the sunset.

The tour is successful and Shy and Folake have never been happier!

What’s happened so far:
ChiChi’s love life has kept us glued to the screens!

She’s lost love and found it again, and now it seems she’s rekindled a high-school flame with OC Cocker.

Could he be the one who finally snatches our favourite single girl?

What might happen: 
As ChiChi walks down the aisle to meet her husband-to-be at the altar, friends and family can’t help but shed a tear or two. Afterall, we want our loved ones to be happy, don’t we?

However, the groom may not be the one everyone had hoped for…OC Cocker.

As the couple says their vows, looking affectionately into each other’s eyes, the minister is shocked as the church doors burst open and Phillip runs in!

With all eyes on him, Tinsel’s Phillip Ade Williams declares his undying love to ChiChi, telling her how he had lost his memory (maybe it’s hereditary) but he always knew something, or rather someone was missing from his life.

Without sparing a second thought, ChiChi turns her back on OC and runs-off with her beloved Phillip. What they don’t realise is that a humiliated OC Cocker is hungry for revenge…

What’s happened so far:
This long standing couple are back together, but they might be better off apart…especially since Bola’s killer ambition has turned him into a low-lying fugitive and Adana into an unwitting accomplice.

What might happen:
We get to see Bola finally rotting in prison!! This is where he belongs, right?

Adana manages to break away from his evil clutches, after turning state witness. Who would’ve thought Bola’s beloved wife would be the final nail in his coffin?

It takes her a while to get back on her feet, but Adana has the support of Shy and Folake, who decide to return Abimbola to his mother (the most heartbreaking decision Folake will ever have to make).

But Folake is rewarded by seeing how ridiculously happy mom and tot are in their penthouse in Johannesburg. Play dates with Jacob’s son Isaac become the norm and Adana even dips her toes back in to the modelling world, but only for assignments that don’t take her away from home and her baby boy.
