Fashion TV Africa Channel Launch and Press Conference Set For This November 2012
Fashion TV and all its products will be launching in Africa courtesy of Mode Afrique. Mode Afrique was set up to showcase and market African Fashion to an international market. The FTV broadcast will be known as FTV Africa. FTV Africa will contain exactly the same content as FTV with an injection of African content which will also be aired worldwide via the FTV Network.
Fashion TV was created in 1997, and has been setting the standards for excellence in fashion and lifestyle broadcasting. It is the only global alternative to fashion print media, and appeals to everyone interested in fashion, style, beauty, and trends.
Fashion TV understands and caters to its audience by providing original, unbiased and informative programming. Fashion TV’s strong image and exceptional awareness of its brands projects a unique, cosmopolitan and modern style allowing for influential partnerships with many global brands.
The FTV Africa broadcast will be Free‐To‐Air (FTA) and will be available on the following platforms throughout Nigeria and Africa as follows:
1. Star Times Digital TV
a. FashionTV Africa will be available across Nigeria and other African countries as a standalone channel on the Star Times Digital TV Platform
b. Airtime: 24 hour, 7 days per week
c. Available ad spots: 12 minutes per hour
2. Channel Syndication
FTV Africa will be syndicated on the following Nigerian commercial TV stations
a. Silverbird – One hour per day, five days per week
b. TVC – One hour per day, five days per week
c. ONTV – One hour per day, five days per week
d. Plus other commercial African stations ( Kenya , Uganda, Tanzania , Ghana , Benin etc)
Available ad Spots: 12 minutes per hour
3. Satellite Signal
a. Free‐To‐Air broadcast available on all popular satellite decoders within Africa,
b. Airtime 24 hours 7 days per week
c. Available ad Spots: 12 minutes per hour
Mode Afrique will be holding a Press conference in Lagos November 2012 to announce the arrival of FTV and its brands in Africa. The Venue of the Press Conference will be at the Four Points Hotel by Sheraton. The dates will be confirmed to you in due course.
The press conference will be attended by the founder of FTV Michel Adam. There will also be a private reception (attended by Michel Adam) at the Porsche Showroom after the press conference where Brand heads, CEO’s, Advertising agency heads, designers, etc can meet and network regarding the advantages of using FTV Africa as a platform to advertise and showcase their brands and products.
We will also enlighten the public via the press conference on how to get access to, and participate in providing content and advertising on Fashion TV Africa and the FTV Network.
