Microsoft Unveils YouthSpark Activities for Nigeria

YouthSpark_social1

Microsoft has initiated a youth focused programme tagged ‘YouthSpark for Nigeria’  as part of the parent company’s programme to help create new opportunities for 300 million youth in 100 countries over the next three years.

The Company said  it intends  to unveil the platform and will also announce new partnerships and initiatives towards a successful program implementation in the country.

Microsoft launched YouthSpark as a concerted effort to address the emerging opportunity divide among young people: a gap between those who are prospering and others who are struggling because they lack the education, skills and opportunities they need to succeed.

YouthSpark will address these issues with three core areas of concentration, empowering youth by strengthening education; giving youth inspiration and tools to imagine new opportunities; and to help youth realize new employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.
