From the beaches of Malibu to the streets of East Los Angeles, seasoned Los Angeles police officer John Cooper, rookie trainee Ben Sherman and homicide detective Lydia Adams do their best to keep the peace on the streets.

Season 5 kicks off with the men and women of Southland facing their toughest challenge yet. With so much chaos around them, Ben, Lydia, John and Tang have to find a way to keep sane.
