PICK OF THE DAY: Bunheads – M-Net Series at 7pm (WAT)

Tired of her life as a professional dancer in Las Vegas, Michelle Simms impulsively decides to get married to her persistent suitor, Hubbell Flowers, and move to a small California town.

Her new mother-in-law, Fanny Flowers, isn’t welcoming, but when tragedy strikes, Michelle has to find a way to earn Fanny’s trust- as well as the trust of the towns people when she bonds with the young girls at Fanny’s dance studio: sweet Boo, rebellious Sasha, shapely Ginny and fun-loving Melanie.

Michelle’s budding relationship with these girls helps her adapt to small-town living and her uneasy role as a new daughter-in-law.

Bunheads premieres on M-Net Series Africa on Friday, 26 April at 7pm WAT.
