“You know: fish, chips, cup ‘o tea, bad food, worse weather, Mary Poppins.”
That’s how Avi, of Guy Richie’s classic thug movie, Snatch, sees the great British Empire, and it’s all about Queen and Country on M-Net Movies in May, as we celebrate the best of British cinema with a royal collection of films.
It’s a right British invasion in the month of May, as M-Net Movies Premiere and M-Net Movies Showcase band together to show the finest film fare Britain has to offer.
While some of the films represent entirely-English production teams, others celebrate particularly notable British actors, directors or writers.
