‘Nikita’, ‘Carrie Diaries’ renewed by The CW

The CW have renewed Nikita and The Carrie Diaries for a fourth and second season respectively.

Whilst the numbers of episodes will not be confirmed until next week, Nikita boss Craig Silverstein tweeted that the spy drama has not been picked up for a full season – TVLinereports that the run could be just six episodes.

The network has already renewed The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Hart of Dixie,Arrow and Beauty and the Beast for the 2013-14 season.
