This spin-off of the popular forensics drama is based in the Big Apple. A group of crime scene investigators and members of the NYPD use science and street smarts to solve mysterious and usual deaths.

In the ninth season, Gary Sinese is back as Mac, the head of a New York City forensics team. The CSIs investigate when a fire chief – a friend of Mac’s – is killed in a blaze that used the same technique as a recently paroled arsonist.
