This June on AfricaMagic Movies

June is jam packed with the latest movie titles, starring the hottest talent out of Nollywood whom you can see in multiple blockbusters!

Some people are so good at what they do, that you cannot mention their filed of expertise, without mentioning their names. Similarly, Nollywood has talented guys and girls that make us take notice, even before engaging with the story line.

There are four names that dominate June’s playlist and their volume of work speaks for itself.

Desmond Elliot, Nadia Buari, John Dumelo and Mercy Johnson are this month’s poster guys and girls, starring in two or more blockbuster films.

John, the ‘Ghanaian in Nigeria’ has a quiet demeanor even in the roles he plays. But, don’t be fooled, he sets hearts racing whenever he appears!

Mercy Johnson
2013 AMVCA recipient for best actress in a comedy has come a long way since her debut movie The Maid. She won the award for her sterling performance in Dumebi the Dirty Girl.
