Hot new chefs cooking on E!

Five of New York’s hottest chefs reveal the culinary workings behind the Big Apple’s food scene in the brand new reality show Playing with Fire on Sundays at 8:30pm WAT on E!

So who are these geniuses who are keeping New York on the boil as a bubbling pot of culinary options?:

First, there’s Italian Anna Boiardi. Descended from a family of famed expert chefs, Anna creates mouth-watering  Italian cuisine from scratch. In the series she kicks off a business venture and tries to balance her professional and personal life.

Then there’s the food-loving Candice Kumai – who was on Top Chef and went on to judge Iron Chef America (Sundays at 21:00 on Food Network). This gal is all about tasty dishes minus the fat. So we’re definitely in store for some good eating.

Julie Elkind brings her patisserie expertise, as well as her kick-boxing skills. to the kitchen. She spices things up with delectable pastries, cakes and confectioneries and is a force to be reckoned with in the kitchen.

Lastly there’s Daniel and Derek Koch. These career-driven twins began their journey in the modelling world, which led to them opening their own hospitatliy business and subsequently launching their hip restaurant and nightclub called Toy. See how the restaurant quickly becomes a culinary sensation with its French-inspired menu and famous parties.

Catch the premiere of Playing with Fire, tonight at 21:00 on E! followed by new episodes, Sundays at 8:30pm WAT.
