PICK OF THE DAY: The Hour S2 – M-Net Series at 8pm (WAT)

In The Hour, best friends Bel Rowley and Freddie Lyon yearn for bigger and bolder news stories while working at the BBC.

Fed up with constantly overlooking the major issues of the day, Bel and Freddie become hopeful when they discover that a new current affairs programme, The Hour, is being assembled, and it may just give them the break they need.

Season two kicks off a year after The Hour was unceremoniously taken off air. Although Bel has fought to stay, Freddie has been fired and all eyes are now on the new Head of News, Randall Brown.
