Nick and Suzanne are newlyweds and are raising Suzanne’s children from a previous marriage. However, Nick’s mother isn’t too happy with the marriage or her new role as grandmother.

In the season premiere, Nick lands a job as a sports anchor and Suzanne’s ex-husband is pushing an idea of paying less child support.
