FIFA World Cup draw this Friday to get Brazil 2014 ball rolling
The 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil is more than 180 days away, but rumblings of which nation will win football’s ultimate prize will gather momentum as the 32 qualified nations learn their group stage opponents in Friday’s much-awaited draw.
The full draw is live on SuperSport SS3HD/SS3/Maximo/Select 1 from 4pm on Friday 6 December.
The possibility of a group of death featuring Brazil, England, France and the USA will certainly make the draw a tense and dramatic one.
One of Africa’s five – Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Algeria, Ghana and Cameroon – could also find themselves in the mix of such a group. The possibilities are endless.
Robert Marawa will sit down with former World Cup players Daniel Amokachi, who represented Nigeria at the ’94 and ’98 editions, Sammuel Kuffour, who was at Germany with Ghana in 2006, South Africa’s number one at Korea-Japan 2002, Andre Arendse, as well asStuart Baxter and Ernst Middendorp, to discuss the draw in the buildup.
