A LOOK AT TEN SUCCESS STORIES FROM MR IDEAL NIGERIA
As Nigeria prepares for its selection of Mr Ideal Nigeria 2014, we takes a look at the ten outstanding success stories from 2010 – 2013.
1) AYOTUNDE AJIBOYE, Businessman: Ayotunde won the 2nd edition of the Mr Ideal Nigeria in 2011 held in Lagos, and launched Clipse entertainment. After his short study trip to India, he launched the event management side of Clipse , and has his own bars called Blu Breeze , head quartered at Leisure Mall, Surulere, Lagos.
2) OLAWALE BELLO: Supermodel: Nigerian Supermodel won the maiden edition of the Mr Ideal Nigeria in 2010 in Akure. he was recently nominated as City People model of the year and graced the biggest runways in the country from Ibadan Style and Fashion Week , to Lagos Fashion Week and Music Meets Runway.
3) JAMES PETER; Dancer: James competed in 2013 representing Adamawa and grabbed the best talent in the competition. He appeared in Brymo’s Ara video , and recently just recently returned from a talent show in Paris , France. He is the official choreographer of teh Mr Ideal Nigeria pageant.
4) Kayce Nmaa; Fitness Trainer: he competed in 2011 , representing Lagos and walked away with the best body from the competition and he didnt stop there, he launched his own fitness outfit in Lagos , fast becoming a celebrity trainer , coaching Tiwa Savage , Monalisa and gets regular tweets from Celebrity comedian Princess.
5) Benjamin Touito; Nollywood Actor: The Babcock University graduate represented Ondo state won the business icon award at the Mr Ideal Nigeria 2012. He went on to follow his dream as an actor and has been featured in a number of Nollywood movies.
6) Vincent Lawrence; Sports Model: Stands at 6 ft 4 and remains one of the tallest contestants seen in the Mr Ideal Nigeria contest. He won the best cultural outfit in 2012 , after so much hard work and persistence , he landed a the opportunity to study abroad on a sports scholarship in South Africa.
7) Izuchukwu Anoliefo; AUTHOR/ BANKER: Izuchukwu, Nigeria’s first representative to Mister Tourism International , Panama having placed 2nd in the 2012 edition of the Mr Ideal Nigeria. His passion for fitness inspired him to write a book on fitness and health. The Banker says ‘Mr Ideal Nigeria opened me up to a lot of opportunities and I am glad I was able to be a part of it.
8) John Akapa; FITNESS MODEL: JJ as he is fondly called keeps on rising and rising. After bagging the highly coveted MR ABUJA title , he competed in the Mr Ideal Nigeria and finished top 5 also winning the Best Traditional costume award. He is known to have one of the best bodies in the country and as such landed a Million naira figure deal with Sofa Lounge in Abuja. He is said to be one of the brains behind Face of Sofa, a pageant that saw Brandy fly down to Nigeria to attend.
9) JOHN ETENG; COMMERCIAL MODEL: He walked away with the best body title in 2011 and went on to work with the House of Twitch and got featured in a number of adverts including airtel. The Cross River rep. to Mr Ideal Nigeria in 2010 went on to get featured in some high profile magazines including Complete Fashion.
10) Fortune Davis; SLOT AMBASSADOR: Representing Lagos in 2012, he came out 2nd place and landed a spot to represent Nigeria at the Mister Africa International in London and he placed 3rd in the highly coveted event. On his arrival from London , he became Ambassador to Blue Storm Energy Drink , SLOT and TNT Clothing. Aside Francis Odugboe of Taraba 2012 in Mr Ideal Nigeria, Fortune is the one Mr Ideal Nigeria that has landed a lot of endorsements. His role as Mr Ideal Nigeria – Earth 2012 landed him a BE YOU magazine Cover. In 2012 he was listed as one of the sexiest men in Nigeria.
The Search has began for Mr Ideal Nigeria 2014 , the winner represents Nigeria at the Mister Africa International 2014, in the Netherlands.
