This weekend on SuperSport: Orange African Nations Championship , Chelsea Vs Manchester United, and more…

The new year is in full swing, with SuperSport hosting great sporting action on the third weekend of 2014.

The Orange African Nations Championship (CHAN) has already produced goal-mouth action and the excitement continues this weekend. Sunday’s Group A clash between South Africa and Nigeria will set the Cape Town Stadium on fire with the most anticipated match of the group stages.

In another CHAN fixture, Ghana go in search of victory against Libya in Group C. The Black Stars will be still in high spirits after their 1-0 win against Congo.  A fight for survival will take place when Ethiopia and Congo face off following defeats in their opening games.

Also on Sunday, Giants of the Barclays Premier League are set for a collision course when Manchester United visit Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Aside from the bragging rights, both clubs will be desperate for a win in order to improve their standings on the Premier League table.

Manchester City will take nothing for granted in their league match against a struggling Cardiff side at the Etihad Stadium. In the Serie A, a second placed Roma will be overwhelming favorites in their match against Livorno, who have won only three games in the season.

Two NBA games will thrill, with action between the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday and a prime-time clash between the Toronto Raptors and the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
