The Oscar Pistorius Trial Channel recess till 5 May
The Oscar Pistorius Trial: A Carte Blanche Channel will take a broadcasting break for two weeks – from Monday, 21 April to Monday, 5 May 2014. The pop-up channel (DStv channel 199) will continue with repeats and an omnibus of the week’s court proceedings throughout the Easter weekend and will pop down on Monday, 21 April at 9pm WAT, to resume again on Monday, 5 May 2014 at 6am WAT.
The channel, hosted from a studio in Johannesburg, has regular live crossings to the courtroom, broadcasting audio of the full trial and televising parts of the trial; and will continue bringing viewers daytime and night time programming until the end of the trial, including live in-studio and court broadcasts from 6am to 9pm WAT daily, and content repeated from 9pm until 6am WAT the following morning when the channel goes live again from the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria and the Johannesburg studio.
