AUDIO: Bobzee – Oju Eje

Born Olabode Pipi deep in Surulere in the late 90’s BOBZEE is the hottest upcoming talent on the street of Surulere with his name (BOBZEE) stuck on everyone’s mouth with his popular slang (ALAKWA).

Olabode grew up amongst family members, friends, neighbours and relatives and peers in prep school.

His music career kicked off in his teens when he started rolling with up and coming talented guys in his hood to perform at street shows and also in clubs.

He already has Surulere shut down with one word “ALAKWA” with the SURULERE CYFER collaboration which dropped sometime last year and went viral on social media and even on the streets of Surulere and other local government areas.

In his quest for an ultimate spring into limelight, he started recording his Demos with popular producers, the like of Samklef, Dwiz, Black jersey and a host of other underground producers.

He also participated in the Gidi culture festival FLOW WITH THE BEAT competition where he recorded his own version of the soundtrack produced by MALEEK BERRY and was picked amongst the 3 finalist to perform on stage at the festival.

BOBZEE came 1st at the finale by shutting it down with a massive response from the crowd on the day of the festival with his indigenous rap freestyle.

BOBZEE also featured as a cameo in the recent video by REMINISCE featuring SOSICK from the ALAGA IBILE album and song titled “TURN IT AROUND”

Not only is BOBZEE a talented rapper, performer, songwriter and producer, He is a true creative talent and all around artist.

BOBZEE’s eagerly anticipated new single from the stables of JASSY GENERATION PICTURES to hit the radio waves and will be dropping a video for TV in the coming weeks. The track, titled “OJU EJE” was produced by Black jersey, is a rebel’s anthem with a pulsing call to action and hypnotic back beat.
