Play On Repeat Now! Africa’s Hottest Chart Show Premieres This Sunday on 1Music Networks

Play On Repeat Now is a 60-minute radio-format TV show on 1Music Networks that features the top ten most requested videos of the week, as requested by viewers who vote online for their favorite video. These videos are in no particular order. The show’s countdown will be based on votes, charts, radio airplay, and streams, meaning that the most user requested video might not be the number 1 video. 

The show is driven by cool and very witty OAPs who discuss anything and everything buzz-worthy! It features games and interviews with guests (musicians, actors & other media personalities) who apart from giving their own witty take on whatever is being discussed, also use the show as an opportunity to promote their newest works to their fans who are the show’s target demographic.

Veteran media personality & 1Music Networks’ newly appointed VJ, Misi Molu, will co-host with resident VJ, Mr. Tawati, reporting weekly news with entertaining commentary, fun trivia plus responding to viewers’ feedbacks and challenges posted on the show’s Instagram, Facebook and Twitter pages.

Targeted at young and the young-at-heart, Play On Repeat Now is a satirical and irreverent chart countdown that pokes light-hearted fun at today’s pop culture including music videos, movies, celebrity gossips and the latest cultural trends.

To extend the show’s interaction with the audience, the VJs invite them to post materials to the show, from covers of favorite songs to opinions on hot topics of the week. They will respond on-air to the messages or challenges posted on the 1Music Networks website  www.1musicnetworks.tv), Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Play On Repeat Now will air on 1Music Networks every Sunday starting from 5^th of October, 2014, 5:00pm (WAT) with repeat broadcasts on:

TVC: Saturdays 10.30pm
