Tune in for the Champions League this week on SuperSport

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of modern football’s best players. The Swedish journeyman has played for a remarkable seven clubs – Malmo FF, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, and Paris Saint-Germain – winning the league title at each one.
What you didn’t know, however, is that Zlatan is connected to every single match on SuperSport’s Uefa Champions League slate this week.

Well, this is the easy one. Zlatan currently plays for the French giants, Paris Saint-Germain.
CSKA Moscow vs. Manchester City (Tuesday, 21 October at 17:55 CAT on SS3HD/SS3/SS3N)
In his short stint at Barcelona, Zlatan was teammates with none other than Ivorian powerhouse Yaya Toure.
Barcelona vs. Ajax Amsterdam (Tuesday, 21 October at 20:00 CAT on SS3HD/SS3/SS3N)
Zlatan played for both these clubs, spending three seasons at Ajax and a season at Barcelona.
Roma vs. Bayern Munich (Tuesday, 21 October at 20:40 CAT on SS5HD/SS5/SS5N)
Zlatan played under current Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola for a season at Barcelona. The two reportedly didn’t get along, leading to Zlatan’s eventual exit after only one season at the club.
Chelsea vs. Maribor (Tuesday, 21 October at 20:40 CAT on SS6HD/SS6)
Before heading to Barcelona in the 09/10 season, Zlatan finished the previous season as top goalscorer for Jose Mourinho’s then Inter Milan team. The striker famously claimed he’d “die” for Jose Mourinho. The “Special One” currently patrols the touchline at Chelsea.
Liverpool vs. Real Madrid (Wednesday, 22 October at 20:00 CAT on SS3HD/SS3/SS3N/Select2)
While at Inter Milan, Zlatan served as mentor for a young striker called Mario Balotelli. Balotelli is new signing at Liverpool this season. Zlatan also played for Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti in his first season at Paris Saint-Germain.
Anderlecht vs. Arsenal (Wednesday, 22 October at 20:40 CAT on SS5HD/SS5/SS5N)
In his autobiography, Zlatan reveals how close he was to joining Arsenal from Malmo. The move came to a screeching halt when Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger only offered the mercurial Swede a trial. “Having a trial puts you in a weak position, so we said no: ‘We’re sorry, Mr Wenger, but we are not interested.’”
Galatasary vs. Borussia Dortmund (Wednesday, 22 October at 20:40 CAT on SS6HD/SS6)
Following Zlatan’s sale to Barcelona in the 09/10 season, Inter Milan replaced him with current Galatasary playmaker Wesley Sneijder. Both players spent two years together at Ajax earlier on in their careers.
Olympiacos vs. Juventus (Wednesday, 22 October at 20:40 CAT on SS7HD/SS7/SS7N)
It was at Juventus that Zlatan Ibrahimovic truly came to the forefront of world football. He fired the Turin side to the Serie A in both seasons, winning the 2005 Serie A Foreign Footballer of the Year in the process
