GOtv Supports Digital Migration with Massive Decoder Price Slash

MultiChoice Nigeria Limited, subscriber services provider of GOtv, reiterated its commitment to provide Nigerians with affordable digital terrestrial television (DTT) services when they launched a Festive Season Campaign – GO GAGA with a massive decoder price special in Nigeria today.

“As part of our commitment to assist with the digital migration in Nigeria and to allow consumers access to digital television at a price everyone can afford, we have introduced a further subsidised decoder to provide festive price special of N2 900 for a GOtv decoder and 1 month GOtv Plus subscription” said John Ugbe, managing director of MultiChoice Nigeria.

He continued saying, “As a true migration partner and as a platform for digital migration, this price special not only allows consumers to access digital television at a price everyone can afford but it also gives them more choice and the best possible option for joining the digital television revolution.

For N2 900 subscribers get a GOtv decoder including 1month subscription to GOtv Plus – which gives them access to over 41 exciting local and international channels.

GOtv channel lineup includes – AfricaMagic Family, AfricaMagic Epic Movies, AfricaMagic World, AfricaMagic Yoruba, AfricaMagic Hausa, BET, Blackbelt TV, E! Entertainment, Telemundo, Televista, Discovery World, Nat Geo Wild, AiT, Channels, MiTV, LTV, NTA+, Vox Africa, SuperSport Select, Al Jazeera, CNN, Channel O, MTV Base, Disney Junior, Nickelodeon, JimJam, Islam Channel, One Gospel, and SoundCity.

“As a digital operator, we understand that content is very important that is why the GOtv channels have been carefully selected to offer a host of relevant international and local channels made in Africa for Africa to cater for a variety of tastes for the whole family”, said GOtv general manager, Elizabeth Amkpa.

She continued by saying that GOtv has been actively involved in raising awareness about the digital migration. “Our digital migration campaign slogan, Digilevelz Don Land, No Carry Last is testament to this,” Amkpa concluded.
