Easy Taxi Nigeria Celebrates One Year Anniversary
Easy Taxi, Nigeria’s foremost taxi requesting company who recently turned one, celebrated its one-year milestone with a first of its kind event – The Quest in Lagos, Nigeria.
Easy Taxi is a smartphone application which enables users book a taxi from the comfort of their homes, offices or diverse locations.
Saturday, Nov. 15th, Easy Taxi celebrated its anniversary in a rather different way. Easy Taxi Nigeria partnered with Bestman Games to create a live event where participants explored different fun locations within the city of Lagos in real time. Teams of five which comprised of male and female enthusiasts which included the Nigerian brand ambassador for safety, Zainab Balogun and Cool FM OAP Kaylah Oniwo rode around Lagos in easy taxis, exploring different locations and landmarks within the city.
The teams during the course of exploring the city of Lagos in an Easy Taxi, completed small challenges which also involved making use of the application by requesting for an Easy Taxi to convey them to their next stop. This showcased the different uses of the smartphone application and various fun spots and landmarks to visit in Lagos; this includes The Lagos Yacht Club, Freedom Park, Lekki Leisure Lake and so many others. At the end of the very successful event, one team was victorious with highest points earned for effortlessly using the application to get to four different destinations and completing activities in-between.
Commenting on this milestone, Bankole Cardoso, the CEO of Easy Taxi Nigeria said “We are very proud of what we have accomplished within a year of operations in Nigeria. And although we’ve had our fair share of challenges, we’ve also made a huge impact and progress since inception. This wouldn’t have been possible without our loyal users; it’s been an amazing year indeed.”
The smartphone application continues to raise the bar and maintain its position as the foremost taxi hailing service in the country with its constant user friendly updates and services.
