Kids listen up!!! Here is what’s coming up in 2015 on DStv?

It’s a brand new year which means new and exciting things are going to happen. Here’s what kids can look forward to in January 2015.

There’s a new ‘B’ on the block

Someone got a make-over! Boomerang is brushing up its look and bursting into the New Year with a brand new logo. Click on DStv Channel 302 to see all the familiar faces in your favourite shows and check out the brand new big “B” on the block.

Let it go:
New years bring fresh starts and they’re the best time to “Let It Go” (after the global success of Disney’s Frozen it’s hard not to sing that last line). Well guys, you can sing your hearts’ out with the brand new Olaf Shorts on the Disney Channel from 17:25 on Sunday, 4 January. The sizzling snowman, Olaf, will be popping up between shows to sing you into the next one.

Who’s that familiar face?
Inspector Gadget has been around since TV began (well, no he hasn’t, but 1983 was a long time ago!) He’s an old-school hero who uses brains over brawn to fight crime. He produces incredible inventions seemingly out of thin air…or behind his back, and 2015 ushers in a new era for the Inspector – he’s going CGI on Boomerang! Watch the premiere on Wednesday, 14 January at 16:15 on Boomerang.
Lego takes on TV
Lego is back in a big way and kids can enjoy the first ever Lego series right here on DStv! The new series is inspired by Chinese and Japanese culture and takes place in the mythical underworld of Ninjago where a super-sensei shares his wisdom of ancient martial arts, which is vital in the battle against, Lord Garmadon and the Skeleton Army. Don’t miss the premiere ofNinjago on Cartoon Network at 14:30 on Wednesday, 14 January.

This one’s for the littuns
Tiny tots are in for a treat this January because CBeebies is premiering the brand new series, Hey Duggee, on Wednesday, 14 January at 18:55. Duggee is a big brown dog who runs the Squirrel Club which is where his friends go to learn new things, participate in activities and earn badges for their efforts.
Siblings squared
Another new series to keep an eye out for is Nicky, Ricky Dicky & Dawn. You can catch the premiere on Monday, 28 January at 17:55 on Nickelodeon. The only thing these four quadruplets have in common is their parents. Despite their sibling rivalry and good-natured jousting, it’s clear that when it comes down to it, they have each other’s backs.
Sing dance and be happy!
Violetta is back on Disney Channel in December, tune in on Saturday, 27 January at 16:10to sing, dance and find out what’s happening on the home-front and at school.
Cat got your tongue?
NickTOONS is also kicking off the year with CATDOG. The hilarious show starts at 20:35 on Friday, 30 January and it’ll have you Loling all night. Cats and dogs are natural enemies, right? Not in CATDOG they aren’t. They’re a cat and a dog who share the same body but face in different directions! They have two totally different personalities and have to figure out how to live side-by-side… er, front-to-back… as one…
Those are just a few things to look forward to in January. Keep it locked to DStv,com to find out what else is in store.
