Hot on the heels of the recent launch of an affordable DStv HD decoder, MultiChoice announced the addition of a popular Hollywood movie channel, Studio Universal in high definition, to the DStv Compact, and Compact Plus bouquets for subscribers on the new HD Decoder.

The addition Studio Universal HD is in line with MultiChoice’s commitment and continued effort make sure DStv subscribers have access to the latest technology to enhance their overall television viewing experience.

But what’s the big deal about high definition, you ask? Simply put, there’s no better or a more thrilling way to watch television than in high definition.

Watching the Studio Universal HD channel via the HD Decoder will provide a mind-blowing cinematic TV viewing experience of better picture quality with sharper images; true to life colours and textures that make the picture pop; and a pin sharp cinema style sound.

This amazing viewing experience is now available to all DStv subscribers who purchase the HD Decoder. What’s more, not only will DStv Compact Plus subscribers be treated to an entertaining HD movie channel but they will also be able to watch all the exciting Barclays English Premier League football action on SuperSport 3 (SS3) in HD quality.

But remember, to get this mind-blowing HD viewing experience, Compact and Compact Plus subscribers will need to purchase the new, low cost DStv HD decoder.
