This Easter weekend on SuperSport: ATP World Tour 1000 Miami, Arsenal vs Liverpool, NBA and more…
There’s no better way to spend the first weekend of April, than with SuperSport and their exciting sporting fixtures available on TV and via live video streaming on supersport.com.
First up, we bring you the Super Rugby match between the undefeated Hurricanes side and the battling Stormers, on Friday 3 April. The Canes currently top the New Zealand and Combined Conference Log. In contrast, the Stormers seem to have lost their way since their Australasian odyssey and will be in desperate need of a win.
On Saturday 4 April, slam dunks, three pointers and exceptional dribbling skills will be on full display when the Memphis Grizzles battle it out with Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA clash at the FedExForum arena.
Rugby action comes in the fast and the furious format of the game as the Tokyo Sevensbring you all the spectacular tries from the Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium. Focus will squarely be on South Africa, Kenya and Zimbabwe; all three teams will be representing the continent at the tournament.
Back in Mzansi, the Sharks will go into a feeding frenzy when they host the Crusaders at the Shark Tank in another Super Rugby fixture. The action does not end there; we bring you the All-South African clash in the match between the Lions and the Bulls at the Emirates Airlines Park.
A weekend is not whole without action from the Barclays Premier League, and it comes in the form of the must-see match between Arsenal and Liverpool. In another game from the English domestic league, we bring you the drama from the game between Everton and Southampton.
Manchester United will have to avoid complacency when they host Aston Villa at Old Trafford. A lapse of concentration by the Red Devils will see their fourth position on the table come under serious threat.
Not to be outdone, the German Bundesliga features an equally explosive match between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich at Borussia-Park.
Home grown football is where it’s at, as we bring you the mid-table clash between Maritzburg United and SuperSport United in the Absa Premier League fixture at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
Fists, flying knees and submission techniques will come to play at EFC Africa 38 in the Featherweight title fight between defending champion Boyd Allen and Wesley ‘Young Assassin’ Hawkey. Both fighters are known for their striking prowess, and we expect nothing less than an entertaining match at the Durban International Convention Center.
We kick-off Sunday 5 April with more action from the English Premier League in the fiery battle between Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur at the Turf Moor stadium.
Celta Vigo will have to brace themselves for a full-on attack when they meet Barcelona at the Balaidos as the Spanish La Liga continues on your World of Champions.
Basketball action wraps up the weekend with the prime-time NBA meeting between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls at the Quicken Loans Arena.
