South African Tourism hold soiree for the stars and media in Lagos

South African Tourism has held a soiree for the stars and media in Lagos, to share its success story in Nigeria.

The event took place at the Miliki Lounge, Victorian Island Lagos with South African Tourism, Chief Executive Officer, Mr Sisa Ntshona and South African High Commissioner to Ghana, Lulama Xingwana in attendance.

The event displayed the commitment of South African Tourism to the West African market. Nigeria forms one of the key core markets and this is the reason why South African Tourism invested hugely by opening of the South African Tourism office in Nigeria. Part of the West Africa portfolio includes both Ghana and Nigeria. SAT is also seeking opportunities to expand into the Francophone markets in the near future.

The soiree also marked South African Tourism’s 3 years of successful partnerships with Stakeholders, Trade, Media and influencers. The event kicked off with an open dialogue, which included a question and answer session between media outlets and the panelists.

The aim of this was to allow for free and open communication between the media and South African Tourism stakeholders – The panel included: South African Tourism CEO Sisa Ntshona, Consul-General of the South African High Commission, Mr Darkey Africa and Ambassador Lulama Xingwana, South African Ambassador to Ghana.
