This Sunday’s Big Brother Naija Finale is going to fire, as Emmy Gee, Tiwa Savage and 2Baba bring on their stagecrafts.
Emmy Gee is a Nigerian rapper based in South Africa. His debut single, Rands and Nairas peaked at number 7 on South Africa’s official music chart. He started recording music at the tender age of 16, and he started working with producer Shizzi in 2004. He co-founded an entertainment and clothing apparel company known as Teamtalkless.
You are destined for superstardom if you were already singing backup vocals for the late, great George Michael at 16. This was the case for Mavin Record’s songstress, performer and actress, Tiwa Savage. Since her debut, “Kele Kele Love” she has continued to grow and expand as an artist and she has been nominated for, and won many awards.
Having lived in Nigeria, the UK and the States, this accomplished performer has achieved a huge amount in a short space in time which is a testament to her immense talent. She has also appeared on screen, showing another side to her many talents, acting. She has also appeared on stage with such mammoth stars as Sting, 50 Cent, Eminem, Robbie Williams and she has lent vocals to such luminaries as Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan and Ms. Dynamite. All this and she was the co-host for Idols Nigeria, where does she find the time to perform?
Well, fortunately for Nigeria, and Africa as a whole, she has found the time to perform for Nigeria in the big Finale of Big Brother Naija, 2017.
2Baba is a Nigerian born and bred singer, songwriter, record producer and entrepeneur. He is no longer known as 2Face as he is now only known as 2Baba or Tu-baba. This multi-award winning dynamo needs no introduction as he has dished out hit after hit since debuting in 1994 as 2Facewith his hip hop three piece known as Plantashun Boiz.
He has also had a successful solo career which is gouing from strength to strength. Added to that is Record Label owner with his own label, Hypertek Entertainment. He was also part of the Sony all Africa One8 Project with R.Kelly, recording the single “Hands across the world.”
Not only is he involved in the music world, he uses his fame to do good and he has established his own NGO called the 2Face Idibia Reach-Out Foundation whose motto is “Service to Humanity.”In 2009, 2Face was appointed as ambassador by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control.releasing a song “Man Unkind” to raise awareness on the menace of fake and sub-standard food and drug products in Nigeria.In 2009, he was presented with the prestigious International Youth Ambassador for Peace Summit and the Nigeria Youth Merit Award by the National Youth Council of Nigeria in recognition of his contributions to youth development in Nigeria. He is presently one of the Judges in The Voice Nigeria.
