The Voice SA: Here’s how you can register for voting to support your favourite voice!

The musicianship this season has been simply extraordinary so we totally understand if you’re already hyped to rally behind your faves and spur them on to victory. That said, things will work a little differently so we’re here to make sure you’re clued up on how voting will work ahead of time.

Voting via WeChat has fallen away, and nstead you’ll be able to vote using The Voice SA website, mobi site and via SMS. Voting right here on our website and mobi site is free, but first you’ll need to create an account if you haven’t before. Here’s how:

Registering on the M-Net Website: A guide for Laptop/Desktop Users

• You can register to vote on the M-Net website.
• Click on the Vote menu item on the homepage
• Click on Register and enter your name, surname, year of birth, gender, cell phone number in the international format e.g. +27731234567 and your preferred password

NB: Please make sure to pick something you’ll remember when voting opens!

• You will then receive an OTP (One Time Pin) via SMS.
• Enter your OTP
• Once registered, you will be able to vote for your favourite Talent
• Website votes are free.
• Data costs apply

Registering on the M-Net mobile site: For Smartphone/Tablet Users

• You can register to vote on the M-Net mobile site.
• Click on the Vote menu item.
• Click on Register and enter your name, surname, year of birth, gender, cell phone number in the international format e.g. +27731234567 and your preferred password

• Enter your OTP
• Once registered, you will be able to vote after the show

That’s all you need to know! In case you’re wondering, voting via SMS will work like it did before. Simply text your favourite talent’s number to 33962. SMSs still cost R1,50 each and you can vote up to 100 times. Free SMS’s do not apply. No registration is required.
